Dr. Sonam Gyaltsen, a member of the Tibetan Education Council and the Education Advisory Committee, visited the school on July 23, 2026, and observed the morning assembly. In his address, he encouraged students to cherish their Tibetan identity, pursue 21st-century knowledge, and prepare themselves to contribute meaningfully to Tibet in the future. He also visited classrooms and various departments to observe the school's teaching and learning activities.

Later, he met with the staff and shared insights into the history and responsibilities of the Tibetan Education Council. He emphasized the important role of teachers in shaping students' minds and encouraged them to understand each student's needs, prepare lessons carefully, teach with clear objectives, and support every learner in developing their full potential.
